Building with AI

This is where I build scrappy things with AI tools, learn in public, and have fun along the way. While my case studies reflect my design process at its most deliberate, this space is where I move fast and experiment (including the good, the bad, and the ugly).

Current side project: A tool for browsing open roles in a map view, built for job seekers who prioritize proximity to public transit.

Vibe coding my side project has been way more engaging since I stopped battling with the Adzuna API for accurate location data of live job postings. Trying to determine exact company addresses from vague location data just wasn't working out and wasn't a good use of time.

Not every approach is worth seeing through.

I've been working on my office finder project and spending way too long (and way too many credits 😅) building workarounds for a problem that was never really going to go away.

Sometimes the right UX call is to just fake it.

I added phased loading messages to the office finder project while searches and geocoding happen. Claude Code made wiring up Motion(.)dev's AnimatePresence super easy for smooth movement.
